Had a Taylor egg, ham, and cheese sandwich, and it was easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was also great—friendly and fast. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Very good luncheonette style joint. I’ve had several things off the menu and nothing has disappointed. Everything is large and messy - if you take out make sure to grab lots of napkins! Fountain Boylan soda machine is an incredible feature. Edit 4/3/25: I’m officially giving Chat n Griddle their 5th star. I’ve been eating here regularly for the last couple years and I’ve only ever had good experiences. I would recommend everything I’ve had from their menu - see attached pics.

Food was delicious. I had the chimichurri steak and egg bowl. Wife had the 3 egg plate and we shared the French Toast. Everything was great, atmosphere was awesome. Will definitely be back

I recently stopped by Chat & Griddle in Kenilworth and was seriously impressed. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual breakfast or lunch spot. The food? Absolutely delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and a stack of pancakes – both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The coffee was strong and smooth, just how I like it. What really stood out was the service – super friendly and attentive staff who made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back soon – this place is a must-try if you’re in the area!

Had an amazing breakfast here while traveling. Highly recommend the Chicken and Waffles!!! Staff was wonderful, helpful, accommodating, and attentive!!!

Knowing that you can find a breakfast menu in the afternoon is wonderful!!! The guy at the cashier served us with radiant energy, I ordered french toast and was delicious, my friends ordered the version with Taylor ham and cheese and they were fascinated. Highly recommended, the portions are generous, to the point that my friend and I were able to share our order and be satisfied.

Probably the best bacon egg & cheese ive had in Union county! The breakfast we ordered was delicious and they have tables inside so you can sit down and enjoy your meal. They also have a parking lot so you don't have to worry about street parking.
